Interior Inspiration - Spaces we Love

I don't know about you, but here at Lujo we cannot get enough of cool, contemporary interiors. Of course, we love imagining how our designer furniture (bean bag chairs, ottomans, giant floor cushions and more) would look in these stylish spaces... but even better, how we'd look living there! A girl can dream...

Hello, windows! Living in a converted industrial space is definitely a dream of ours - high ceilings, concrete or timber floors, brick walls, and - like this space - huge floor-to-ceiling steel windows. The colour palette of soft grey and white is a timeless choice for a clean-looking, contemporary space.

Our grey indoor beanbag chair would make a comfy alternate to the grey chair, and you could match it with one of our circular beanbag ottomans (in the same grey) - used as a low coffee table.

Where do we start? So many cute ideas in this kids bedroom! We love the stack of hat boxes used as a side table, the wallpapered feature wall (papering just one wall is not only more affordable, it also keeps the room from looking too busy or too small) and the Teepee for quiet times. We'd like our own Teepee to escape to every now and then!

We could definitely see one of our indoor beanbag ottomans in this room, used as a low play table in place of that white one. There's no sharp corners for them to bang their head on, and they can drag it around the room and even use it as a chair. For a designer nursing chair, a Lujo beanbag chair would be an awesome idea - they're super comfortable and supportive, and they're made with high-grade fabric, to endure whatever a busy toddler can throw at them!

Scandinavian-style is definitely not just for those lucky Swedes. Steal the look at your place by opting for lots of white, layered with touches of black and grey, and softened with natural textures and elements. That striped rug is an iconic Scandi-style design, as is the fabric pendant lamp. We love the liveliness of green-leafed plants in a room too.

That coffee table looks a little high and a little industrial for this spot, we think - one of our low, round beanbag ottomans (in graphite grey or sandy taupe) would be perfect here.

This is a masculine masterpiece - we can imagine Ryan Gosling or a young George Clooney living here. The exposed brick wall complements that tobacco-toned leather couch perfectly, and how cool is the stage light as a lamp! If you're wanting to make your lounge look more homely and inviting, loading your couch up with soft cushions and even a throw is an easy way to do it. Another couple of bachelor-style interior ideas to steal here - those branches in a XL-sized glass vase, and the vintage chests used as side tables and a coffee table. 10 out of 10!

Staying with a New York style here, this space is to die for! That leather designer chair is amazing, and the flourishing fiddle leaf fig plant (spotted in loads of stylish homes at the moment) really brings the whole space alive.

We'd love to see how this space looks with some of our designer beanbag furniture in it -  a Lujo luxury beanbag chair in the corner, and a low round ottoman in place of that coffee table, both in taupe or driftwood fabric.

The cushions might be a little too perfectly positioned for our taste, but we still love the concept of a huge corner couch - and this one looks as though it has storage underneath (love that, need that!) The colours in the cushions also tie in with the picture framing, pulling the pieces together as a look. And that cluster of rope lights is so cool, we want one!

Great to see an ottoman used here - they really do make excellent coffee tables, and the round shape instantly softens any room style.

Beach house heaven! Whether you're by the shore or in the suburbs, you can create a luxury holiday home feel at your place by using light timber (in furniture, frames and flooring), shades of blue and steely grey, and light white walls. We really like the way they've grouped a few tables here, as an alternative to one huge coffee table.

Actually, a recent Lujo customer bought two of our beanbag ottomans (one small, one large) to use together in her living room - we can imagine the look would have been a little like this.

Ok, the last inspiring space for today - we better stop interiors hunting and go get some hammocks and beanbag chairs packaged up to send to you lovely people! What's your favourite part of this room? We love the use of rich, dark timber - the owner has obviously taken his/her cue from the dark floorboards. The cushions and layered throws work perfectly here to make the space feel cosy, and - because we're currently obsessed with marble - we really dig that marble-topped coffee table!
